Biography
Frank E. Pierce, IV, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the Orlando office. He is an experienced litigator who has represented numerous business and individuals towards the resolution of complex disputes. Martindale-Hubbell and his peers have also rated him AV® Preeminent™. Frank has counseled clients on various types of high-exposure construction, wrongful death, automobile accident, trucking liability, product liability and premises liability cases. He also handles liquor liability, sexual misconduct liability, roadway construction, commercial litigation and negligent security matters.
Frank’s broad construction experience includes litigating all stages of complex underground utility construction, construction defect, and subcontractor contractual/tender issues. As counsel to a nation infrastructure construction company with more than 10,00 fleet vehicles, Frank has extensive experience coordinating rapid response for industry and vehicular accidents throughout the US – to both prepare for potential litigation and to mitigate potential cost and productivity impacts. He has litigated fleet/industry claims throughout Florida in both state and federal courts as well as in Texas. His dram shop and negligent security experience includes wrongful death, TBI, paraplegia and other high-exposure claims.
Frank has litigated cases involving a full range of equipment used in the construction industry including underground directional boring a missile equipment, telecommunications and power infrastructure, roadway devices, and sanitation equipment. He has developed a robust working knowledge of litigation disciplines including toxicology, accident reconstruction, biomechanics, and various medical subspecialties.
Frank earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida (2007). He obtained his juris doctor from University of Florida, Levin College of Law (2010). Frank also received an Environmental and Land Use Law Certificate from the University of Florida.
Frank is admitted in Florida (2010) and Texas (2017). He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle (2011), Southern (2013) and Northern (2013) Districts of Florida and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas (2020). Frank has been on the executive committee for the Florida Defense Lawyers Association since 2020 and is the current president.
