Biography
Vivian O. Seymour, Esq., is a Junior Partner in the Tampa office. She specializes in defending long-term care facilities, clinical and managerial staff, investors, and other professionals involved in alleged Chapter 400 and Chapter 429 violations.
Prior to joining the firm, Vivian defended a wide variety of long-term care negligence matters including abuse, medical and professional malpractice, and wrongful death as an associate attorney. In addition, Vivian worked for the State of Florida prosecuting cases involving abuse, abandonment, and neglect of children for over five years. She also was an attorney with a large regional firm assisting with foreclosure matters. Further, she has experience in legal research and writing appellate briefs.
Vivian received a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida (2007). She obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric C. Levin College of Law (2012). While in law school, Vivian obtained two certificates (Pro Bono and Community Service) and two book awards (Foreign Enrichment: Business Law in Emerging Economies and Domestic Violence Law). Vivian is admitted to practice in Florida (2012).
Vivian speaks intermediate Yoruba and beginner French.
