Biography
Glenn Palaia, Esq. is the firm-wide Attorney Billing Compliance Manager. In this capacity, he is responsible for monitoring compliance with clients’ billing guidelines and providing training for any areas of non-compliance. Glenn is a member of the firm’s Administrative team and collaborates with other relevant functions to develop better monitoring and auditing systems for compliance. In his position, he is a resource to timekeepers, training personnel on client billing rules.
Prior to his compliance role, he was a member of the first party property team handling litigation arising from claims submitted under residential and commercial property policies. He was also an Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender, Eleventh Judicial Circuit where he represented defendants in criminal cases from arraignment through disposition of the case and proceeded to jury trial on approximately 20 matters.
Glenn earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. While in law school, he was a legal intern with the Roxbury Defenders and also assisted attorneys with felony cases in Superior Court. Glenn is admitted in Florida (2014).
